Sentinel is thrilled to announce the launch of its native DVPN token on MXC, one of Asia’s top digital asset exchanges. MXC is a centralized exchange offering dozens of unique digital asset pairings, advanced platform security, and features such as spot and derivatives trading. Starting today, DVPN will be listed on MXC under the DVPN/USDT pairing for spot trading. This is a giant leap forward for Sentinel and the entire DVPN community.

In order to get to this momentous occasion, Sentinel surpassed several key milestones in the recent weeks. First, Sentinel launched its mainnet on Cosmos.

This huge achievement was facilitated by the tireless efforts of the Sentinel community to transition from an ETH-based token to the Cosmos ecosystem, which offers higher throughput, faster time to settlement, and fewer fees than Ethereum.

Second, the transition from Ethereum to Cosmos required a token swap from the SENT token to DVPN, which was performed seamlessly and has been operating smoothly on an ongoing basis since. For those who did not obtain SENT tokens in advance of the mainnet swap, DVPN will be available for purchase on MXC starting today.

Third, Sentinel announced new DVPN token economics to get the community up to speed on the transition and future of the Sentinel network. In short, DVPN tokens will enable access to staking and development rights on the Sentinel network.

This is the moment that Sentinel has been building to since launching in 2018. With worldwide access to the DVPN token, the Sentinel network is primed to increase its user base and reward them with unique staking and holding opportunities over time. The Sentinel vision of censorship-resistant privacy has been achieved in Sentinel’s dVPN and the next chapter is just beginning. Join the journey as we enable freedom from prying eyes with rewards for participation.
